We welcome guest conductor Stuart Barr, with whom the orchestra worked in the Channel 4 TV programme Hidden Talent. Two great Russian classics, from Glinka and Rimsky-Korsakov, are separated by Schoenberg's own arrangement for string orchestra of his famous early work, Verklärte Nacht.
