To celebrate their return to Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall, KSO would like to invite you to 'A Night at the Oscars', an evening of music from Oscar-winning films from throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The programme ranges from arguably Max Steiner's most famous film score, for Gone with the Wind, to memorable music from There will be blood by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. We also include works from the concert hall by Bernstein and Gershwin that are linked with Oscar-winning movies, as well as a suite from John Williams's score for the original Star Wars movie. Something for everyone, and a night to remember!
